Our Neighborhood introduction is an ideal way for an expat to rapidly feel at home in his or her new surroundings. The newly arrived is picked up at home for an exploration of the district. A personal and unique service.

What we do for you

During the introduction we visit different stores that provide in basic needs. We meet the shop owners, introduce Dutch produce and explain their characteristics. We go for a cup of coffee with the neighbors and have lunch in a nice restaurant in the neighborhood. The post office, a nearby gym, a (child friendly) park and the police station are visited. A trip by tram is included, and we’ll explain the workings of public transport. More detailed versions of included and optional visits are listed under the headers Basic Package and Extra Package.

The Introduction package

The Neighborhood introduction includes an Expat introduction package containing a Hospitality booklet with information on:

• Public transport and the OV-chipcard
• Coaching sessions
• Separate waste collection
• Gyms, sport clubs, restaurants, children’s playgrounds, expat networks, dutch classes et cetera

And miscellaneous brochures and booklets such as:

• Visitors Guide
• Access Magazine
• IamExpat flyer
• Telephone numbers emergency services
• Addresses of nearby hospitals
• Theme oriented cards in Dutch-English
• And more!

With the Expat introduction package comes a warm welcome gift and reduction vouchers for several stores and companies.

Our Expat introduction package is in English or, when available, in the expat’s mother tongue.

Rates

Prices include the Expat introduction package, a welcome gift, the OV-chipcard and snacks on the way.

For private persons:

• 4 hours per person: € 550, V.A.T. included
• 5 hours per couple/family : € 850, V.A.T. included, 4 persons max.

Company tariffs differ and are available on request. For 10 or more employees or families a group discount is available.
